~God's Crayon Box~

A dear friend just sent this to me in an email and I thought it was so good and wanted to share it with ya'll. :) It's called "The Day That God Dropped The Crayon Box."

We live in an awesome world. Make it an awesome day. Peace To All and May God Bless You. Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

~Happy St. Patrick's Day~

Here's some "green" for St. Patrick's Day...I'll be wearing a green shamrock t-shirt today at work so all my little children won't pinch me. LOL

~Three Little Acres~

I went out for a little walk this weekend and snapped a few pics of some scenery on our little property. Here's the back of our house. (I'll be so glad when this is all green and alive again) :)

This is a grapevine that hangs over a natural arbor area that is so pretty in the summer. Blackberries grow up the side and so good for the picking.

These are about the only green leaves that I can find around here for now. :)

The pines are green of course and I'm thankful for them.

This is a sign that my daughter made for our little place when we moved here.

I enjoy going on little nature walks around our field. It is so relaxing. And I don't have to worry about traffic and the air is crisp and fresh. I've figured it out that if I walk around the field about 4 times it is a mile. :) Where do ya'll like to walk?

~Dreaming of Spring~

Even though it is cold outside, with snow on the ground, it is now March and I am dreaming of spring. There will soon be Easter eggs to hide.

And my rock lined pathway will have green grass and flowers growing.

And the firepit will be lit to enjoy the cooler evenings with hotdogs and marshmallows roasting over the open flame.

The birds will be singing and building nests and my wisteria will be draping over this little birdhouse.

I am dreaming of spring and it will be here soon. (We've already seen the turkey buzzard.) LOL

~Snowing~

This is what it is doing in our "neck of the woods." What's it like in yours?

~Winter Scapes~

The winter time snow and ice has been really hard to deal with for so many people and my prayers have gone out for all the homes without power during the ice storms.
But the snow and ice can sure make nature look beautiful too.
This is my daughter's lavendar plant.

Our wood pile is dwindling down but we are all keeping nice and toasty warm on these cold winter days.

Jim Darling was taking these pics for me and was trying to get a pic of the horse in the back field but it kept moving. :)

~~Stay warm~~

Charlotte's Web

This pretty spider web was on my porch railing one morning,
recently, and I just had to take a picture of it.
It was really beautiful in real life.

Thankfully, I didn't see the spider. It must have been hiding from me.
