I just got a package in the mail from a bloggie friend in the United Kingdom. I asked her to make a daisy pin cushion for me because my sweet Mama is having a birthday soon and I wanted to give it to her. (She loves daisies.) I just know she will love this. Thank you Julie....you did a GREAT job knitting this gift!! You can visit Julie's blog at The Gingerbread Knitter.

~The New Tea Business~
I had so much fun reading through your comments about what you think I may be doing with "Tea" soon. :) And you had very good guesses. My sweet Mama and I are indeed opening a tea business but not an actual tea room that will serve dinners. We will have a traveling tea tasting business and also be making and selling essential oils and other items. (Did ya'll know that I do Reflexology?) I will be doing this also. I haven't done it professionally in many years but now is the time to start it back up.
Thank you for all of your guesses and I will be checking in now and then but will no longer be blogging as before. My time is being spent going and coming this way and that way.
It looks as though we will be moving again soon and we will be busy setting up a new home, as well as, a new business. So my time will be eaten up for awhile. But I will try to keep ya'll updated along the way and hope ya'll won't forget about me. :)

~Teacups and Tea are for me~
I have been enjoying my summer vacation......how about you?
It seems that most all of my blogging friends are not posting as much right now because we are all so busy enjoying the outdoors and not spending time on our computers as much as when we were cooped up inside during the winter months. :)
But not only have I been enjoying my summer vacation but I have recently started my own business with my Sweet Mama. Can you guess what it is all about? hmmmm............
~Breadbox Centerpiece~
My roses are blooming beautifully and I just had to bring one in for my new table centerpiece. I always like to eat more fruits in the summertime and a bowl of apples is a quick way for me to grab a healthy snack. And lemons are always good in my sweet tea or to make a pitcher of freshly squeezed lemonade.
These items are all sitting on top of my bread box that my daughter gave me years ago. She bought it at a garage sale. (I've passed along my thrifting to her.....LOL)

~Gifts From Sweet Peeps~
It's so good to receive gifts and even better when they are from "Sweet Peeps." My daughter gave me a huge gift bag, full of delightful things, recently and told me that I was a special Mama to her and she wanted to do something to show me how much she appreciated me. (Talk about bringing tears to my eyes. :) I was very humbled.
Then just when I had been sick and having a bad day, the mailman comes and delivers me a big box full of precious goodies from a dear blogger friend. Mary, over at Contrary Mary , sent me some wonderful pretties and it just made my whole day better. Thank you very much Mary!!
If you know someone who's going through some trying times, send them flowers or something pretty and it will help to perk them up a bit. :)
Some chocolate, coffee beans, sugar scrub and a new cutting board.

~Flowers Can Lift Your Spirit~
Flowers sure do lift me up when I'm down. I love lots of flowers but carnations and hydrangeas are among my favorites. Jim Darling just bought of bouquet of flowers for me yesterday for our table centerpiece. They were pink lilies and so pretty. We have had several deaths arounds us in the past two months and it is hard to keep cheery sometimes, but having some beautiful flowers sure helps. I've been sick all week but still had to work, so this weekend I'm just resting. See ya'll again soon. :)
This flower arrangement is my sweet Mama's and sits in her back porch entryway.
The water pitcher is old and was a favorite of my Grandma's.
